Rebecca Speirs is a Private Practice Endorsed Midwife committed to supporting women and birthing people to feel informed, confident, heard and deeply cared for throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
Every pregnancy, birth and family is different. Rebecca’s approach is grounded in individualised care and continuity, taking the time to understand what matters to you and supporting you to make informed decisions about your care.
How Rebecca can support you
Rebecca specialises in supporting women and birthing people who are planning to birth in a hospital setting, with care available throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

Antenatal Care
Rebecca can provide all of your clinical midwifery care in the comfort of your own home. We have more time in our appointments to ensure you never feel rushed or limited by time limits. If you require obstetric input throughout you care Rebecca can attend any obstetric appointments with you in a support capacity.

Birth Support
Rebecca specialises in caring for women choosing to birth in a hospital environment. For those who would like extra support during their labour and birth you can include birth support in your care option and Rebecca will attend your birth in a support person capacity.

Postnatal Care
Rebecca can provide midwifery postnatal care from the day you go home up until 7 weeks and 6 day postpartum. This care includes feeding support, baby checks and weighs, postpartum care and support, baby Newborn Screening Test (NST) and newborn care and support and linking you in with ongoing community supports
Medicare rebates are available for eligible midwifery services.

Pregnancy and birth planning services
Rebecca Speirs at Earthly Magic Midwifery offers early pregnancy and birth planning services in Brisbane, Redlands, Logan and Ipswich. Online or in person options are available. After purchasing a session or package, Rebecca will contact you to organise a suitable time.

Birth Planning
Three 90min sessions (online or in person options available)
Labour and birth can be the most incredible experience, but just like any incredible experience knowledge and planning can make all the difference.
This three session package supports you to explore and feel confident preparing for your birth experience. During our sessions we look at all the options you may wish to access during your labour and birth and map out any unexpected variances where you may need to make decisions quickly.
By the end of our three sessions you will feel prepared, confident and even excited about your labour and birth.

Early Birth Planning
If you have just found out that you are pregnant and are wondering what to do next, this is for you.
At during this 60 minute phone appointment we can help you to understand your options to make this time less confusing and ensure that your needs are met and you feel confident as you start your pregnancy journey.
Rebecca can organise all your early pregnancy care including Blood tests, ultrasounds, screenings and referrals.
She can guide you through the maternity care system and your various option and help you access the ideal model of care to meet your needs and expectations.
